I think that the phrases would sound more
authentic if the words were not omitted.
eg. I am twelve years old. In this sentence the stress is usually on the words I, twelve and old.
A rhythm of stress- relax – stress- relax – stress is created.
Rhythm is an important part of English pronunciation.
